As I said above, Makies Dolls are NOT easy to find (for sale) in the USA and NOT inexpensive to purchase.

My husband knew how badly I wanted a Makies Doll so he found one in the UK, asked a Dear Dolly Friend, Jay Dolls UK (on youtube, Instagram, and Tick Tock) to help him surprise me.

Deron, my husband, found this cutie with Elf Ears on the UK Ebay Site and asked Jay, my Dear Dolly Friend, to purchase it and ship it to us!

So now I have TWO Makies Dolls!

I was so suprised, I cried....I am Not a crier.

Going with the Bird Theme, I named her Mingo, I thought it was perfect with her hair, and Mingo could be an Elf Name. However I could have also called her Flame. Both short for Flamingo.

This is my Makies Doll, Chickadee. I designed this dress myslef for her using the Skipper Pattern (found on the Skipper Doll page on this site) for a base.

I will be adding the Makies Dress Pattern soon. It can be used in so many different ways, including and not limited to, a quick and easy Shirt Pattern.

All coming very soon....we have them, it is just a matter of getting them ready for this site.
